Boris Kasteel will hand over the role of CEO to Neil Tregarthen on 1st November 2023

Boris assumed the position in 2020, succeeding the former owners. During his tenure, Boris played a pivotal role in enhancing and professionalizing Atlas Professionals, marked by the significant milestone of acquiring NextWave Partners, a crucial step in the company's transition into the renewable energy end markets.

Now, the timing is right to pass on the CEO role to a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the recruitment industry, particularly in the offshore energy sector. With Neil Tregarthen, the supervisory board has identified the ideal candidate to lead Atlas Professionals into the next phase of its journey, which spans over 40 years.

Boris Kasteel: "I've had the privilege of working with many outstanding individuals at Atlas Professionals over the past years and have been consistently impressed. The organization fosters a strong culture of collaboration and a commitment to continuously adapt and improve. The sense of unity within the Atlas family is remarkable. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone I've had the pleasure of working with. I'm also confident and pleased to leave Atlas Professionals in capable hands."

Neil Tregarthen: “After retiring from NES Global Talent on the back of ten very successful and rewarding years, I’ve been asked a number of times to get back into the recruitment sector and have always turned the opportunities down. Something felt different about Atlas and Next Wave Partners however, which I ultimately concluded was, large operational footprint with great potential for growth in attractive business segments, along with a chance to disrupt the market place a little bit (or even a big bit!). That’s an exciting challenge for all involved and from a personal perspective, given the fact that the fundamental need in my life, is for “challenge”. I look forward to sharing that excitement with everyone in the group over the next few years.”
